The Heart is formed entirely through natural fibres, combining bindweed and cabuya in a woven basket that foregrounds texture, rhythm and the physical act of making. Without a ceramic body, the woven structure itself defines both the form and character of the piece.

Its construction remains visible throughout, allowing the repetition and variation created by hand to become part of its visual language. Rather than separating decoration from structure, the weaving performs both roles: it creates the object while simultaneously giving it its surface, texture and individuality.
