Peak brings ceramic and fibre together within a single vessel, pairing a white earthenware bowl with a woven rim of cabuya and bindweed. Here, the woven element follows the edge of the ceramic form, introducing texture and natural variation to the clean solidity of the earthenware beneath.

The meeting point between the two materials is deliberately apparent. The making process remains visible in the finished piece, allowing the woven rim to communicate both its construction and the qualities of the fibres themselves. Rather than treating craft as an invisible means to an end, the piece allows material, process and form to be experienced together.
