This chair was designed around my love for being present in your own home & my belief that the dining table & chairs are really the heart of your home. The balance of only five spindles leaves lots of negative space, with the outer two spindles giving the chair a direction & grounding. The sweeping crest rail is there for you when you need it, inviting you to take a breath & pause.

The minimal splay of the chair legs makes this chair feel older than it is, stepping away from the wide stance of the modern-day chair. The legs give a nod to the old plastic school chairs of the 90s. The Nova chair is a piece that holds onto the careful craftsmanship of traditional handmade chair making whilst being conscious of the modern day.
