Otzi Studio on the work

Using a playful combination of both handmade and digital joinery, the frame features gently dovetailing half-lap joints with through tenons. The leather sling is carefully cut and wrapped around the frame to highlight these details around the floating arms and seat, mirroring the contrasting mix of square austerity and light curves. In the backrest, the studio has cut a semicircular handle that curves with the hand as it is moved.
