Mythology on the work

The Enki Chair pairs playful form with traditional craft. Made from solid British elm, it features a leaf-shaped backrest joined with a walnut tusk tenon, introducing a decorative moment into an otherwise materially direct construction. The contrast between the elm and walnut highlights the joinery and gives the chair a distinctive identity without separating ornament from structure. Its character comes from the way the detail is integrated into the making of the piece itself.
