Freya Rose on the work

This piece is particularly special to me, and I’m incredibly proud to see my F.ROZE fabric upholstered on one of Tom’s distinctive chair designs. A piece that has proudly taken pride of place in his Pimlico showroom for all to admire.

The steel charcoal silhouette of the Vienna Carver beautifully echoes the Jean Miró-inspired lines woven throughout the F.ROZE Sixties Sun fabric, creating a seamless dialogue between textile and form. The relationship between the two feels effortless, with each element enhancing the other to create a truly sculptural statement.

Tom’s work resonates deeply with my own design philosophy. We both believe that everyday objects can be elevated through thoughtful design and exceptional craftsmanship. His meticulous attention to detail transforms clean, refined silhouettes into timeless pieces, while my textile collections are created to bring artistry, character, and emotion into the home. Together, they blur the line between functional design and collectible art - pieces that are as beautiful to live with as they are to admire.

As someone who is deeply passionate about supporting artists, designers, and makers, Tom brings an extraordinary generosity to every collaboration he does. It has been a genuine privilege to work alongside him on this project, and I’m honoured to see our creative worlds come together in this piece.
